Blessed Realm were a doom metal band who originated around the time of what many might call the "golden age" of the British doom scene. The early 90's were a fruitful time for doom metal, and in the wake of the famous Saint Vitus/Cathedral tour and the "big three" of Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride and Anathema, tons of death metal bands discovered Witchfinder General and slowed down their recycled Massacre riffs by half.

Blessed Realm were also very influencial during the early days of Iron Void with Sealey even booking shows for the band in Doncaster where he resided at the time.

With liner notes provided by Jonathan "Sealey" Seale of Iron Void and Kat Shevil Gillham of Blessed Realm, this CD collection features songs hand picked from the band's demos; "Redemption", "Chasing The Dragon", "Return To Zero" and "Crawl" as well as previously unreleased rehearsal tracks and rare studio recordings.

about

Blessed Realm were a UK doom metal band who originated around the time of what many might call the "golden age" of the British doom scene. The early 90's were a fruitful time for doom metal, and in the wake of the famous Saint Vitus/Cathedral UK tour in 1990 and the "big three" of Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride and Anathema, tons of death metal bands discovered Witchfinder General and slowed down their recycled Massacre riffs by half.

Blessed Realm were an influence during the early days of Iron Void with Jonathan "Sealey" Seale booking shows for the band in Doncaster where he lived at the time and both bands shared the stage at several shows in Yorkshire, UK around the turn of the millennium.

With liner notes provided by Sealey and Kat Shevil Gillham (Vocals), this CD collection features songs hand picked from the band's demos; "Redemption", "Chasing The Dragon", "Return To Zero" and "Crawl" as well as previously unreleased rehearsal tracks and rare studio recordings.
