Markus Solstrykare Getting some strong Minotauri and The Gates Slumber (both dead but not forgotten) vibes from this and that's a great thing. An even better effort than the self-titled from last year. I'm fairly confident that they will release yet another album in the near future. Soon Iron Void will become an unstoppable force. Records like these is the only confirmation I need to know: "Doom metal is not dead."

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
